Motorola Droid

I got a new phone! WooHoo! Mine broke in September so I've been using one of my mom's old phones until I was eligible for an upgrade. (thanks mom!) My upgrade was January 4 so I booked to a Verizon store and checked out what they had. The Droid is the most awesome phone they have and with its features, it seemed it would make life easier. This is if you can figure out how the dang thing works! I'm so not smart with any technology! And I'm terrible with the touch screen, thank goodness it has a slide out keyboard.
We were in a movie the weekend I got my phone and I had set my ringer to silent but apparently that doesn't apply to any alarm you have set on your phone. So we're sitting in the movie (and it was a louder portion of the movie) and i lean over to Mike and ask if he hears that noise? It kinda sounds like a fire alarm? Then we realize its my phone! Shoot! I'm one of THOSE people now! I promise i silenced my phone people! SO i pull it out of my purse (which makes the ringing noise even louder) thinking i can just hit any button to turn the thing off... NOPE. Its still ringing. I don't know what to do! It wont shut up! So i sit on it. But you can still hear it! So I had to go into the hall to turn it off finally. I was so embarrassed, and I felt really bad for my fellow movie-goers. I'm just a girl with a new phone, who has no idea how to use it!

Oh my. I feel so lost to try to catch everyone up since my last post! It's been so long. It's been a crazy month. I passed Pathophysiology and finally got onto Christmas (which was over in the blink of an eye), then new years. Which was a wake up call to me since Nursing School started 1/14. I hustled to get all my things done to be ready to go back to school, and got things out of the way because I knew I wouldn't have much time to do them during the semester. So here we are. I survived week one of school. Mike and Parker are both taking classes which is fun but I have to study so much more than they do (that's a lie, I don't think they study at all) so it's hard but I was mostly stressed out with the anticipation of school but now it's here so its not so scary. I cant guarantee how much i'll be able to keep up my blog up to date but i'll certainly try!
