Gender Update!

My brother called me this morning at about 8 and was VERY disappointed that there was some scheduling error with the ultrasound and they were going to have to wait another month to get it done. I have absolutely no idea why her doctor would make her wait another 4 weeks and get an ultrasound at 24 weeks. But what do i know right? I've only worked in OB for like 6 years now. . Fortunately, since i work at the OB, we were able to get her in my office today for a quick peek at this baby. After much trying, with legs that appeared to be glued together, we got a bum shot. Layne said that usually you should be able to see a scrotum from this angle if the baby is a boy, so he guessed girl. He also said not to run out and buy pink things yet either though, we need to recheck again in a few weeks to be certain. So we still have to wait but it was still fun to be able to see the baby!
